Dear LTTers,

I don’t know about you but sometimes I forget. I get wrapped up in the drama of the actor’s lives, in the hilarity of the fandom and in the frustrations of the movie making process that I forget why I fell in love with the Twilight saga in the first place.

I forget what it was like to read the books for the first time and sob when I realized they were over. I forget how obsessed I became after I watched the first movie and how I squealed in delight and held Moon’s hand so tight when we finally got to see New Moon.

I need to be reminded. And I bet you do too!

Dear LTTers,

Merry Christmas Eve! If you don’t celebrate Christmas, merry time of year when everyone says “Merry Christmas” to you and you look at them and say, “But I don’t celebrate Christmas” and they stare back at you, not understanding, in a santa hat!

Moon and I have objected ourselves to 2nd-hand embarrassment, yet again, to wish you a very Merry Christmas.

Amanduh is back and her sex is on fire (among other things)!

Dear LTT-ers,

A few months ago UC and I mourned the lose of AmanDUH’s YouTube channel after she deleted all her videos and we thought she was forever gone from our lives. I mean what were we going to do now without her beautiful musical stylings, without her reenactments of Twilight, without her choreography, withouth slightly special faked Edward? Die, that’s what. A world without Amanduh is not one I want to live in!

AmandDUH’s at it again – Decode!!

Dear LTT-ers, train wreck lovers and video enthusiasts,

Our dear dear Twimom video vixen AmanDUh is at it again! And yes she’s gone back to covering songs and wouldn’t you know this time it’s Decode by Paramore. I about jumped out of my chair when I got the notification she had updated and she doesn’t let us down!

Looks like AmanDUH’s invested in a make up artist for this video. Yup she got eyeliner and what I can only assume is a  tear drop “tattoo” on her cheek. Now where I’m from that means something quite different that being sad. Thats just straight gangsta! Did she get in a prison gang fight at the ladies penitentury and kill one of her homies? DAAAYUM Amanduh’s hardcore! I better watch my back, she’s libel to cuttabitch. But really, I’m just glad she brought back “special” Edward for this video, I was beginning to miss him and his hairline.

Enjoy! And uh don’t turn up the volume too loud she hits a few notes that only dogs will be able to hear.

Nobody puts Bella in a corner

Dear LTT-ers

So the other night when I was browsing the super de dooper radical forum (the official name)  I came across a video that BLEW my mind. The lovely Calli had posted a fanmade video of Bella and Edward to “Hungry Eyes” from the Dirty Dancing soundtrack! Behold…

Can you even believe how amazing this is?? So then jokingly I said, “Next you’re going to tell me there’s a video for ‘She’s like the Wind'” and wouldn’t you know it THERE IS ONE!!

SERIOUSLY?! These just might be the best fan videos every created!

I’m thinking maybe Stephenie Meyer should just rewrite Twilight and move the location to camp Kellerman instead of Forks and Bella comes there the summer before going to Mount Holyoak and Edward is the dance instructor with a shady past. Wait a second… this is almost the same story line…

Calli also told me to look closer at the rest of the soundtrack to see how well it lined up to the movie and it got me thinking… DUDE this could be like the ‘Dark side of the moon’/Wizard of Oz (Dark Side of the Rainbow) of our OUR generation! So next time I watch Twilight I’m going to invite some folks over, light some candles, put the Dirty Dancing soundtrack on repeat and hit play on the Twilight DVD and experience some Johnny and Baby + Bella and Edward magic! Who’s with me??

Dear Edward & Bella,

Due to things like writing Letters to Robert Pattinson, hanging out in The Forum, Twittering our every thought on Twi & Rob and Live Blogging the MTV Movie Awards, we tend to lose perspective on what this is really all about.

It’s about you guys- about your love that shouldn’t have happened, but did anyway. Never mind that you’re just a fantasy from the mind of a creative writer, we fell in love with YOUR love. No matter when we discovered you- years before when there was only one story or more recently after you became a world-wide sensation, you’re why we’re here.

Ode to Jacob & Bella

Dear Edward,

I know you struggled greatly with your decision to reenter Bella’s life. You felt it was selfish, but you wanted her so badly. You felt she would have been better off with Jacob, yet you wanted him nowhere near her.  In the end, you win, of course, because the best guy always does. But I’ve been wondering lately, and I wonder how often it crosses your mind: What if Jacob and Bella had ended up together?

I jotted down a few Pros and Cons of that situation:

Pro: Bella wouldn’t have had to be so careful with her crazy hormones and wouldn’t have had to hold back
Con: On the other hand…Jacob is technically human and wouldn’t last all night when they were finally intimate

Pro: Bella could raise herself a little WolfPack of her own.
Con: It would be hard having blood relatives this hot (I don’t know how Clare Pattinson does it). Plus there’s always that fear that your child might someday go shape-shifter on you.

Pro: Jacob’s a pretty dang good friend- really laid back & funny & likes to live a little on the wild side
Con: That ‘wild side’ means he turns into a smelly, dirty wolf, and Bella’s clearly more of a cat-lover

Pro: Bella would have always been safe, warm & comfortable with Jacob

Pro: Jacob would have made Bella happy.

Pro: Being with Jacob would have meant she could have stayed human- kept her human life and family and friends, without fear of hurting them

So let’s add it up: 6 Pro’s vs. 3 Cons…..Uh oh, maybe Bella should have ended up with Jacob? Oh wait… I forgot a con:

Con: In choosing Jacob, Bella would love him. She would! But she would always… always.. ALWAYS be loving you, Edward. And wondering what might have been. And as a result, she would be slightly miserable all of the time. It would be like that old song, “If you can’t be with the one you love, honey, love the one you’re with.”

So now, recalculate- 6 Pros, 4 Cons. Hmm.. that last con was a pretty big one, wasn’t it? Let’s make that count for 4. So…. 6 Pros & 7 Cons.  The results are in! Bella chose correctly!

Bella loved Jacob at one point, you have to know that… we all do- she even admitted it. But she never loved him as much as she loved you. If she had chosen Jacob, she would have always wondered…all the time.. what would have been? When her child grew older and looked like Jacob, she would have wondered what a child with you would have looked like. And as she aged and grew more wrinkled, she’d remember how gorgeous, beautiful and YOUTHFUL you’d still be….

My wondering is over. This case is closed. Bella chose you- Bella made the right choice! So today I’ll celebrate the wonderful friendship of Bella & Jacob!
