Dear LTT-ers,

It’s a Monday and you might be on your 3rd cup of coffee looking to wake up and shake off the tireds. But you can’t, I know. In fact you’re probably looking pretty haggard when you catch your glimpse in the reflection of the coffee pot in the break room and wondered, ‘when the crap did I age 20 years?’ You’re definitely not eternally 17. So I was thinking if normal people feel this way than the twi folks have to have a few haggard days themselves. Since we could all use a pick-me-up and helped out with the site In 20 Years that Brooke sent me, I present you some of our Twilight folks… IN TWENTY YEARS!

Dear Kristen,

You looked amaazzzing at the Oscars. Like seriously girl- I am coveting your dress. I knew you had girlie in you. I knew you had a hairstylist on speed dial. I knew you could glam it up for one night and chit chat with Hollywood elite and pretend to like it. It was the Oscars after all!

I was struck, after looking through the Oscar galleries from the red carpet & after parties, with the desire to figure out what was going on while the photos were being taken. I mean- you got a picture with Evan Lysacek gold medalist male ice skater. Was that on a dare from Taylor? Did Rob text you and request a picture for his mom?

So I declare today “After Oscars Caption Party,” and I’m gonna have fun! Thanks for letting me!

It’s time to reveal the winners of our 2010 Valentine’s Day conversation hearts contest! We tasked you with creating your very own conversations hearts that were Twilight and Rob themed. There were no rules other than it needed to fit on a heart. And what you all came up with astounded us! You guys are SO funny and original and sometimes just plain wrong! We’ve poured over the Valentine’s entries for hours and hours and cast secret ballots for our favorites and we’ve finally come to a consensus! Remember when we used to run contests and give out fake prizes? Like a 3 day, 2 night tropical vacation to Isle Esme with Edward? Yes, the same ones they released as Twilight merch that “sparkle” and taste awful and have boring little Twilight things written on them? Same thing. Only we’re kicking it up a notch and asking YOU to design funny, hilarious, cute, naughty, just plain wrong, Twilight and Rob conversation hearts! Go wild, add sayings, making up something funny, add an image what would REAL (LTT/LTR) Rob/Twilight conversation hearts say? Only thing is it’s gotta fit on the heart!

Dwell Deep: Second place prize is a print of the amazing painting UC’s friend Sam from Dwell Deep did called “Loss or Lost.” We shared Sam’s art with you just last week and mentioned this painting was inspired by the Lykke Li song from the New Moon  soundtrack. In this print, a girl curls up in a nest of twigs, safe but lost. The text reads, “A silence… and a numb feeling to hide the pain.”

The image measures 7″ x 7″ centered on a white 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of heavy weighted paper. All of Sam’s drawings, paintings and crafts are really amazing, but we especially love this Twilight-inspired one! Plus this week in Sam’s Etsy shop, she has this print on sale for $10! My perfect New Moon premiere outfit – Contest

Dear New Moon cast members,

We are 34 days from the premiere of New Moon and to be honest I’m started to freak out a little bit.That’s 34 days till every Twihard descends on Los Angeles to hunt you like dogs in the street. Ok, maybe it won’t be that intense. 34 days till UC and I are reunited again. 34 days till I get to meet tons of our awesome readers turned pals! 34 days till we make out with Chris Weitz to how our gratitude. But mostly there’s only 34 days for me to pick out the perfect outfit to wear when I see New Moon. You can imagine how much I’ve been thinking about this. UC has already pulled her perfect outfit together so I’m under the gun and I need to find the hottest, sexiest outfit that will make Rob stop dead in his tracks.

So I got to thinking that I should probably wear something comfortable since I’ll have to be able to punch and kick easily and the outfit needs to be able to last several days out in the elements as I’ll be sleeping on the sidewalk in front of the theater next to a hobo. Because of these prerequisites I’ve decided I should role with a tshirt and here are the options I’ve found…

Imma enter a Twilight contest

Dear country music lovers, Twilight fans, lovers of contests & closet rappers,

Who can forget the night of September 13, 2009 when we all crowded around our TVs in fear of what Rob would show up wearing, wondering if Ash would have a nip slip on the red carpet, pondering if Kristen’s hair could possible look any worse than at ComicCon and hoping that Taylor wouldn’t charm us so much that we really consider moving to Georgia? And then, our hearts skipped a couple beats as said underage boy in a man’s suit stepped on stage and this happened:

Congrats Kanye, you’ve again proved to be a douche.

But like everything in pop-culture, Kanye’s a-hole move quickly became a meme and provided us with countless LOLs as “KanyeGate” took over the radio, TV, news reports and interwebs.  It all came to a head when I discovered the Kanye Gate tumblr account, which, of course, had Twilight/Kanye mashups!

Seriously? Photoshopping a little Kanye image with Twilight-related stuff? That looks like SO much fun & RIGHT up my alley. So I gave it a shot (after the jump)
