Multi-task: Drive, Eat Cupcake, Take picture
Dear LTTers,
It’s the weekend, so you know what that means- we go have actual lives. We post short, sweet, simple posts & say “see ya Monday!” Cuz we like stuff other than Twilight. I know it’s hard to believe. But seriously. We do.
Now in the past 9 months we may not have had much time for stuff other than Twilight, but that doesn’t mean we don’t like it.
For example, I like:
- Cupcakes
- Kittens & grown-up cats
- Harry Potter
- Rob Pattinson
- Going out to eat
Since this is Friday while I’m writing this, tonight, after work, (are you shocked that I blog at work?) I’m going home to pet my 2 cats, eat the rest of the Oreo cupcake my husband brought me home yesterday (aww!), go out to eat with a few friends and then see the late showing of Harry Potter at the Imax theatre. See? I’m well-rounded.
I asked Moon for a few things she likes besides Twilight. She said:
- Music
- Hello Kitty
- Traveling
I’m pretty sure her weekend plans involve her grabbing her Hello Kitty pillow, hopping on a plane & heading up to some show in Vancouver. Why Vancouver? Well, it’s been like 13 days since she last saw Rob, and I think she’s dying.
But what I really wanted to show you was something I love other than Twilight, but is still Twilight related cause… well, we do run a Twilight Blog.
We both loved the movie “500 Days of Summer.” Hopefully you’ve seen it cause it rules. But in case you haven’t, here is the Trailer…. well, kinda…..

I would love to see 500 Days of Summer but it never came to our theatre, maybe just too small town midwest, so I will have to wait for dvd.
I’ve watched the trailer several times and the Twilight take on it really put a smile on my face 🙂
I love Zoey too! Maybe I can get this movie on Netflix.

Haha, that’s so true, we all have our own lives therefore it’s always slower here on weekends! That’s good though, we are all still very much grounded!

Loved ‘500 Days of Summer’. I’m recommeding it to everyone I know…but in my World that recommendation is going over as well as my Twilight recommmendation. I may very well be the only person in my circle of friends who actually knows who ‘The Smiths’ are.
I’m obsessed with The Smiths…but again I’m alone in my obsession, my husband calls it “music to kill yourself too” hah.
Loved the Twilight/500DOS trailer hilarious! And @ 1:11 Edward’s expression is all too appropriate, HA!

UC, we love all the same non-Twilight things! It’s really funny because I don’t really like cake, but I LOVE cupcakes! Anyway.
500 days of summer does look good, I’m going to try and see it this weekend. I am loving that twilight version of the trailer, though!
I love Zooey Deschanel. SO much. And I love She & Him; they’re one of my favorites. Zooey is pretty much the only celeb who I fully support simultaneously doing acting and music. Love that child, and can’t wait for the movie to come out!
I finally figured out why it is that I still watch Twilight despite Hardwicke’s epic fail in bringing forth SM’s book. The casting and the cinematography is really, really good. I truly could watch the movie with totally different words (that wont piss me off about how unlike the book it is) and still enjoy it. Of course having his holy hawtness in almost every scene doesn’t hurt either. I just love Rob.
Ok… so I have to see this movie now. If for no other reason than to see the scenes before and after “they called me anal girl” ok, I am sick now.
Ohh that trailer is hilarious! Especially the waitress!
uhm, did anyone see the trailer for “Gentlemen Broncos” in the same widget as “500 Days of Summer?” Michael Arrengano’s character is so very sad. Juxtapose that with watching your ex-girl making out with the hottest vampire ever on screen and his holy hawtness at a concert… you gotta think… life sucks for him. (no pun intended)
I just watched the 500 days of Summer trailer – it looks great, not out here yet.
BTW I think the girl eating the cupcake (UC?) looks like Summer in the movie.

Has anyone seen the latest Ashton indie movie, Spread?
Ugh!!! Weekend Real life! At this moment I am sitting in the cafeteria of a Hospital in Boston with my son, who is mixing up chocolate pudding parfette until it is just a mixed up mess of chocolate. We are here visiting my mom who is suffering from liver disease. We are talking to doctors about transplants now.
My point in tell you all this….Just to let you know that I’m very aware of my real life everyday. But everyday I I get to take a break from my reality and I get to escape reality for just a bit and I get to laugh.
This blog and it’s sister LTR as well as a couple of others are my sanity, even though they contain insanity.
So as I go about my “Real” life this weekend I am thankful for my un-real life that I get to share here with all of you.

I also love Hello Kitty, and conveniently have a 10 year old girl who has always loved HK, so I can indulge myself by indulging her!! I gave her some of my stuff from the 70s that was at my parent’s house, she flipped!
In addition to Twilight, I also love Harry Potter, and have been obsessing on it much longer, of course, and I am also one of those dorks who loves Project Runway, and was SO excited that it started again this week. If I wasn’t on vacation, I would spend the weekend re-watching it!
I actually already had plans to see 500 Days of Summer tomorrow! Glad to hear you liked it. I love this 500 Days/Twilight trailer. It’s really well done.

500 days of summer was amazing, and the soundtrack was soo perfect i’ve already downloaded all the songs onto my ipod. the 500 days/twilght trailer was absolute perfection on my totally crappy day lol ❤

Ahhh!!! I’m so excited for (500) Days of Summer! I keep on checking at my local indie theatre but it’s been “Coming Soon” for a few weeks now. 😦
(500) days of summer was very enjoyable except for a few things. one of them being–his name was Tom Hanson, johnny depp’s character on 21 Jump Street. I found it really distracting! am i just showing my age?
